Establish A School Library - Cambodia
For this project, the elementary school dedicated an area of a large conference room to help establish their first library. Initially, the school only had a small box of reading books to share to the 307 students. Like many other Cambodian schools, this school has both morning and afternoon classes to keep up with the growing population.
To help the school, we bought 423 reading books, multiple shelves, educational supplies, table cloths, etc. The library will be opened early and closed late to encourage the students to read.
The total project cost was $1,111 and took about 3 days to complete.
