new Water Tower & sink - Brasat, Cambodia
It’s hard for a school restroom to stay clean when there’s no running water.
In 8 days, we gave this Cambodian school restroom a water tower (or running water) and a large tiled sink. We also cleaned and painted the restroom, inside and out, and talked to the students about the importance of good hygiene.
Personally, we got so much joy in seeing groups of students come a little early to school to wash up before class.
The total project cost was $1,305, helping 262 students. The school has morning and afternoon classes to accommodate all the students.
