COVID-19 FOOD PACKAGES - PERU
By early February, we had already identified and started working on six humanitarian projects. Unfortunately, once everything started shutting down due to COVID-19 so did our projects. However, thanks to our volunteers in Peru we started realizing how much the deprived elderly were suffering there. Our focus then changed to help 110 families by giving them a two-week supply of basic food. The bags were distributed in mid-April and mid-May.
The total cost of the project was $3,000, helping 359 people (an average of $8.36 per person).
